Hi, my name is Lizzy and I am 4 years old. I am probably a typical cat compared to those silly ones that like to sleep in your lap... I really don’t need a lap to be happy. Now don’t get me wrong, I love attention just not a lot of it. I don’t mind sitting on the sofa by you to watch a little TV. When I was little I liked to cuddle with my human and loved to clean his beard. Now I really don’t care if I do that or not although a scratchy beard is a nice thing to rub my head on sometimes. I love to help humans with their exercise and will play with the laser to help with their arm workouts. I don’t mind some toys but they have to have a little catnip in them. I don’t mind being carried around if it is just for a few minutes. It is not my favorite pastime. Give me a great window view and a nice area to prop my head on and I’ll be happy.
I like to think that I could get along with others but there are times I sure wish I was all alone. I will admit that there are one or two cats where I live now that scared the willies out of me and so I think I would be best all alone or with a very laid back cat. One of the cats I’m scared of bit me real hard a few months ago and I had to be rushed to the vet (YUCK) to get some help. Don’t worry I am all better and the cat that hurt me has to share her favorite couch with me since I get a room to my own now. I’ve heard that she now sits in the other rooms in the house and pouts because she can’t be in her living room. HA see what happens if you play mean?
Anyway, I’ve been told that I am up to date on all my shots, I have been fixed so that I
won’t have any kitties. (Thank Goodness) I also tested negative to FIV/FeLV. I had my teeth cleaned last year so they are nice and sparkly. I do not go outdoors and if you want me to be honest I can’t remember if I ever was outdoors. I totally love food. I have a favorite dry food and canned food I like and I even have a couple of treats that are the best in the world. I tend to be a little silly at times and have heard my humans call me “Dizzy Lizzy”. I usually just ignore them. I feel like there are times you just want to have fun.
I was around 5-7 months old when my humans saved me from the local city shelter, I had been there for almost a month and from the scuttlebutt around the room my time was up when they took me home with them. I will always be thankful for that but I sometimes wish they would have sent some of their other kitties away when they brought me home.
