Lester is a big, solid, sweet boy. He isn’t as smart as his little sister, but this big lug will give you kisses across the room with his eyes. Lester is a talker and has an angular look about him that makes you think he must have a little Siamese in his mix. He was born in October 2006 and was rescued near White Rock Lake with his littermate
Katie as a small kitten. Lester and Katie have been together their whole lives and are an adorable matched set to be adopted together.
While Lester prefers to run and play, he enjoys being held for a while for some loving. You can tell he enjoys being petted by his loud purr when you scratch his chin and neck. Lester likes to surprise you when he feels affectionate by rubbing up against your legs. He loves having his neck and back scratched when you walk by him. He is very curious and likes playing with toys, and watching birds and squirrels outside fascinates him. Like his sister, Lester loves napping on plush cat mats in a sunny spot. Lester will be your best friend, agreeable to almost anything, when he thinks he will get a spoonful of canned cat food as a nightly treat.
Katie and Lester will run through the house playing chase and will remind you of little human siblings as they play. Katie is definitely the boss, but Lester enjoys his rough-and-tumble antics when he is in the mood. Lester is curious about and will abide cat-friendly dogs and other cats. Lester will probably do better in an environment without children because he would probably be scared by them.
Lester is an indoor-only cat. Lester and Katie have been inside since they were small kittens, so they must always be kept indoors for their safety.
Lester is neutered, current on immunizations, and tested negative to feline aids and leukemia. He is litterbox trained. Lester has been dewormed, treated for giardia, and is a very clean, flea-free cat. Lester and Katie are in a foster home in Dallas. If you are interested in adopting them, please email
